Electropolishing Aesthetic Appeal
The most striking benefit of electropolishing is its lustrous appearance. Electropolishing is a non-mechanical process. No tools come in contact with the piece so there is no risk of creating directional polishing lines. The material is treated electrochemically, leaving a microscopically smooth surface that is highly reflective and has a bright appearance. It can be used to polish parts with complex geometries and recessed, or hard to reach areas.
Mechanical polishing can be used to create anything from a matte, non-directional finish to a high luster, mirror-like finish. Mechanical polishing is employed to create most common architectural finishes that you see daily.
